Creating a Request
Requests can be created from the operator interface under the Maintenance tab or at app.amper.xyz on the Requests or Tasks pages.
Creating Tasks from Requests
When people put in requests for work to be performed, and those requests are approved, they become Tasks that can be assigned and completed.
Request Approval
Requests must be approved by a user on app.amper.xyz to turn them into Tasks, assign them to an individual, etc. This is typically done by the Maintenance Manager.
Requests have priority levels just like Tasks. However, before converting from Request → Task, the Maintenance Manager can edit the priority level.
Alerts for High Priority Requests
You can opt-in for an alert to be sent when high priority requests are submitted. The recipient of that alert is typically the Maintenance Manager. The alert was designed so potentially more important maintenance requests can be seen and approved in a more timely manner. For more information about establishing this alert, please visit this page:
How to set up the “High Priority Maintenance Request” alert
- Open the Amper web app and go to the Alerts tab on the left hand side
- Under the Alerts tab, click New Alert
- Fill in an appropriate name for the alert
- Under Configuration, make sure High Priority Maintenance Request is the selected Alert Type
- Under Shifts, select the appropriate shifts for which this alert should be active
- Under Alert Recipient(s), add all persons who should receive the alert
