You’ll see new terminology reflected in our app starting January 13, 2024.
New Terminology for Faster Adoption
We’re renaming features to make things more intuitive and better aligned with industry terms:
- What used to be called a
Goal
will be called aJob
. - What used to be called a
Job
is now called aWork Order
.
Why the change?
The old naming caused confusion, especially for operators. By updating this terminology, we’re aligning with industry standards to make everything clearer, easier to adopt, and more intuitive right from the start.
What does this mean for you?
No changes to how things work—just updated names! Wherever you used to see "Goals," you'll now see "Jobs," and wherever you saw "Jobs," you'll now see "Work Orders."
This small change means less confusion, smoother workflows, and faster onboarding for your team.
When are these changes happening?
The new terminology will officially take effect on January 13, 2024. Starting on this date, you’ll see these updated names reflected across the platform. No action is needed on your part—just a simpler, more intuitive experience!
Examples
This change will apply across the platform, impacting both the web app, including reports and dashboards, and Copilot.
