Where is it?
Click on your name at the top right corner ➡️ Settings ➡️ Setup.
Managing Setup Flows
Setup flows can be created, edited or deleted from the Setups settings page.
Creating a Setup Flow
To create a new setup flow, click Create Setup
Enter the details of your new setup flow in the form.
- Setup Name: This is the name of the setup type that your operators will see in the operator interface.
- Flow Type: Choose whether the setup is Linear or Non-Linear. Choosing Linear will force your operators to follow the standard order of steps when performing a setup. Non-Linear will allow your operators to jump from step to step.
- Target Setup Time (Min.): Each setup type can have a target setup time. You can edit that here and use it to get alerted if setups go over the target. See Top 5 Ways to Use Alerts to learn more!
- Reason: Turning this setting on will automatically label any downtime occurring during a setup as the reason you choose.
Define your Setup Flow Steps.
All setups must have at least one setup step. Click Add Step
and enter the name of the setup step. You may continue to add new steps until you are satisfied with your setup flow.
You can also re-arrange the order of the steps by clicking and dragging the dots icon to the left of the setup step you’d like to move.
Once you are done click Save
. Your new setup flow will now appear in your Setups list.
Editing or Deleting a Setup Flow
Click the pencil icon to edit a setup.
This will bring you back to the form you used to create the setup. You may change any of the setup details or setup steps.
Click the trash can icon to delete the setup.
If the icon is greyed out, this means there are active setups using that setup flow. The open setups must be closed before the setup flow can be modified or deleted.
A tooltip will tell you which assets currently have the open setups for that setup flow.
